Ah-ha! I think the ah-ha was tapping into the dream at the
end of the presentation. Everyone was on the edge of their seats all
night. We were tired (it got late), but Jim turned on the music and
shared the process of dreams fulfilled. It was personal because Jim
shared that some of the dreams that have come true for the two of
you. This made “Jim and Shan” real to those just beginning or

| I am a Certified Public
Accountant and a Certified College Planning Specialist. When I
started my career 20 years ago, I believed that a traditional
accounting career was all I would ever need to make me happy and
successful. That traditional career did make me successful, but I
wasn’t happy. I worked with Fortune 500 companies and helped save
them millions of dollars in taxes, but at the end of the day, those
tax victories felt hollow. It was only when I started working with
families and home based business owners that I began to feel truly
useful. Today I have the accounting career that I want. I am truly
blessed to have a thriving and non-traditional tax practice. I work
from home in a separate building behind our home. Like you, I am able
to watch my children grow up, while at the same time contributing to
the family income. Because I am a home-based business owner, I get to
practice what I preach. I take the very deductions and employ the
same tax planning techniques that I help my clients take.
The majority of my clients are home-based business owners.
Unfortunately, there is not a lot of credible help out there for this
rapidly growing sector. In my travels across the country in training
individuals on tax advantages of home based businesses, I’ve seen
first hand that lack of knowledge and fear are causing many people to
overpay their taxes by thousands of dollars. It is estimated that the
self-employed overpay their tax bill each year by an average of
$5,000 – $7,000. My joy comes in helping families just like you keep
that money for yourselves. While I cannot guarantee that any client
will save money by using my services, I do take the time to find the
deductions that are legally yours to take. |

I grew up in Maple Grove, MN. I attended
the University of Minnesota. After working for over a decade in the
purchasing department of a company in the Twin Cities, I quit and
moved up to Northern Minnesota, where my mother lives and runs a
coffee shop. I worked for several years as a manager/bartender at a
nearby lodge before joining Shan's team. Ed myself and our son, Ethan
Edward, live close to mother.

I chose to be affiliated with Shan because of her reputation in the
direct selling industry! Shan is always in touch and working for
you! As an Administrative Assistant for Shan, my most important
tasks are making sure that we recognize all of our Consultants for a
job well done and provide superior customer service to our loyal
nation wide customers. Shan's team is almost always at the top
nation wide for 1st line sales and always in the top 20 for overall
sales. We are so proud of everyone on our team! I also do a vast
variety of administrative duties, including Consultant and customer

website design for over 6 years. I have an Associate of Applied
Science Degree in E-Commerce, as well as a Bachelor of Arts Degree in
Journalism, with a specialty area of visual communication. I work
closely with Shan to ensure that her Pampered Chef® Training Website
is running smoothly and to help any of her Consultants who may have a
challenge with the site. |
